 My Thoughts~!!

I was thrilled to review the Sweet'n Tots edible Cupcake Toppers~!!  My youngest daughter was just turning eight and we thought it would be perfect for her.  She was equally excited to learn that she would be able to design it for herself.  Her biggest deliberation was deciding which hair style to give her Cupcake Topper and when she finally decided, she stated she would be wearing her hair for her party the same way...and she did~!!

They came stacked neatly in their package and after reading the instructions I proceeded to add them to her cupcakes.  I ripped the first two before I found a groove in removing them...they are VERY fragile...think gossamer wings when taking their paper backing away from the design.  I kind of had to roll it up a bit with my thumb, then slowly slide and lift from underneath until the separation.  After doing this, I didn't rip another and they were added successfully~!!

The kids were AMAZED that their friend was on her own cupcakes and one little girl didn't want to eat hers...hehe  After the topper sits on the coloured icing, the white in the circle begins to blend with the icing colour, giving them a more rounded look.

If you have little ones who like to poke their fingers into yummy foods, then you had better keep them away from these, if the icing hasn't set, then little fingers will cause them to slide off of their icing summit!!  A few of the kids were trying to pick theirs off, thinking they couldn't eat them and we explained to munch away, all was good and their wee faces lit up as they chomped their way through.  They were tasty and didn't give an off flavour in your mouth, nor were they crunchy to chew.

Now, I would love for one of you Mad Mooses to have an opportunity to check this out for yourselves...the grand and groovy folks at Sweet'n Tots has offered a $25.00 Gift Certificate in order to pick up something for your own selves to enjoy...have an event coming that you'd LOVE to make extra special...then head on over to Sweet'n Tots and make your loved one glow~!!
