PRODUCT REVIEW: PottyCover ~ Disposable Toilet Seat Covers for Kids~!!

PottyCover is a disposable toilet seat cover for children that covers the sides and the front of the toilet, to keep away germs and wetness.

It is made of soft non~woven fabric on top, coated with a layer of plastic on the bottom, creating a waterproof barrier between the toilet and the child.  Each PottyCover is individually packaged in a small easy to carry bag for the on~the~go parent.

This is a must have product for parents who are potty training their kids.  Once the child starts getting potty trained it is very important to be consistent and encouage them to sit on the toilet, even when away from home.  But using a public rest room could be very stressful for parents as they try to keep the child from coming in contact with anything, especially the toilet.

I have always loved the Baby Magic products and when I was asked to review them, I couldn't have been more thrilled~!!  I adore the scent and after each and every shower I couldn't help but take a huge whiff of my children as I hugged them into their beds.  My memories always travel back to those little people moments right up to the now of them and I find it a thrilling rush of motherly emotions.

My children love using the Baby Magic Hair & Body Wash.  They think its neat that they are able to wash their bodies and their hair with the same product and as a parent, you think its neat that its absolutely safe for them to do so.

My Thoughts ~!!

I was pleased to be able to receive a Zoobies "Mudd the Moose" Blanket Pet"...of course I would choose the Moose, I am MAD about them afterall~!! 

I thought it was just adorable when I first opened the packaging.  It was bigger than I thought which was great because I was thinking the pillow aspect wouldn't have been very viable and I was happy to have been proven wrong.

The material is VERY soft to touch and the pillow was comfortable to place your head upon.  My kids took turns sleeping with it so that they could each give their opinion and both said they woke up after having a great nights sleep.  My daughter felt comforted by the Moose located at her head and my son loved how the blanket felt on his skin.  They both thought the Moose was really cute and loved his horns.

I thought the workmanship was excellent, there were no running threads or any places that looked like it may wear quickly.  All the seams were tight and well formed!  The colour of the material is nice and vibrant and a proper shade for a Moose.

I think these would make excellent gifts ANY time of the year for both the young and the old~!!  There are many designs to choose from and I am quite positive you will find something to suit your needs~!!

ImagiPLAY's "Take Me To The Moon" is a very imaginative and wonderful toy for your little ones~!!  Its all natural workmanship is enough to impress anyone Eco-Friendly parent~!!

The set comes with seven hand-painted wooden figures and a zippered rocketship tote bag to store it all inside when your child is done playing.  It is hand-crafted by Rubberwood, a environmentally friendly hardwood and painted with child safe paints.

My son played with this for hours...he loves his imagination and this opened up many doors for him to investigate~!! The wooden figures are easy to handle and brightly coloured!  My sons pudgy fingers had no problems handling the characters and he found clean up to be a breeze as he was able to store everything inside the spaceship.

I was impressed with the paint detail on the figures.  I loved that everything is hand-painted making it a unique and one-of-a-kind gift as there is no possible way any two could ever be painted the same.  The artists used good, clean strokes without any clumping nor was they flakes of paint missing from any of the painted articles.

I think this would make an excellent gift for the wee ones in your life and with Christmas coming, what a perfect excuse to buy this wonderful "Take Me To The Moon" set for under the tree.

Two of the safest and best convertible car seats are made by Britax.  They are the Britax Advocate 70 CS and the Britax Boulevard 70 CS.

These two seats have all of the safety features you’d expect in a top rated car seat and much more.  Britax is definitely cutting edge when it comes to safety.

Both of these seats are convertible seats which means they begin service as rear facing seats and then depending on a child’s size are turned to face forward at some point.  These seats are rear facing from newborn to 40 pounds depending on your child’s height.  They are forward facing from 20 pounds to 70 pounds again depending on height.  However it’s recommended that children be in a rear facing seat for as long as possible.

Extra Safety Features

The two seats have all of these safety features in common: SafeCells, Versa-Tether, side impact protection, click and safe harness indicator and many other more common safety features.

SafeCells are made to be compressed in an accident and this reduces the forward motion of the child’s seat.

Versa-Tether is a tether webbing that also slows movement toward the front seat in the event of a crash.

True Side impact protection is an additional piece of foam that is designed to make sure the neck and head are in correct alignment so crash forces would be evened out as crash energies are absorbed.

The Click and Safe harness indicator lets you know with a click so you can hear when the harness is tightened correctly.  All car seats have to pass U.S. government crash standards but these are features that go beyond those standards.

How Are the Advocate and the Boulevard Seats Different?

The only differences between these two seats are price, fabric design/color and what Britax calls “Side Impact Cushion Technology”.   The side of the Britax Advocate 70 CS has what looks like airbags but serve as cushions to absorb side impact crash energy.  Britax says they reduce forces from an accident by 45%.

This extra cushion is the main difference between these two Britax car seats.  The Britax Advocate sells for about $25 more than the Boulevard.

These Seats Are At the High End of the Car Seat Price Range

These two seats are well known as top of the line seats that are rated highly by owners and also seats with a high price tag.

There are cheaper seats than the Britax convertible seats but there is a good reason for that.  First these Britax convertible seats will be in use for a long time since they are designed for newborns through 70 pounds unlike cheaper seats.  They have safety and comfort extras also which tend to keep your children happier and safer on longer trips.

These two Britax convertible car seats safety and comfort features combined with their long term use make them definitely worth any parent’s consideration.

My Thoughts~!!

I had the great privilege of reviewing Moojoe's Kids Gear Inc.'s, "Colour Your Own Costumes" and found them to be fantastic~!!  They came folded up neatly in a cloth pouch and thought that it was really cool that it had its own storage compartment for when the children are doing playing with it.

For hours my son and daughter coloured their costumes and the whole while they were discussing what they were going to do with them when they were completed.  Before even donning them the two of them had already been on many adventures together just through their word play.  It was a wondrous site to behold~!!

My son is very  meticulous in his colouring and it took him much longer to complete his masterpiece and his sister was very impatient waiting for him to finish.  She wanted to put it on and start playing with it right away, but the agreement between the two of them was that they put them on together when they were finished, I had to remind my daughter to uphold her own rule.

My son coloured a Knight and my daughter was creative with a Princess and after all was done, they ran around the house playing all kinds of games.  My son loves to hunt zombies, I do not know why and he felt truly valiant as he slayed them to save his sister, I wish I had a camera, it would've made for a great moment.

I love that the costumes are 100% cotton and the kids said they were comfortable to wear.  The texture is smooth so that the colouring medium adheres to the cloth, even crayons looked great upon the costumes.
