The average American moves 11 times over the course of their life. 11 times! Think about everything that goes into moving to a new home. You have to plan the move, hire movers or rent a moving truck, and pack up all of your things into dozens of moving boxes. What do you do with all of those moving boxes once your move is done? Do you throw them out, recycle them or use them as planters in your back yard?
The experts at My Move wondered what the environmental impact of recycling moving boxes really was. What we found was amazing. Did you know that by recycling your moving boxes instead of throwing them out you can save the lives of 7 trees and save more than 3,000 gallons of water? Recycling your boxes would be a fine idea not only by helping the environment on replenishing it's state but also it can also help you save money. As for me, I re-use my shipping boxes at home because they are really good.
