What's In A Name?? ~ Baby Name Trends for 2012

What's in a name??  They say a name can make or break a person and some people actually suffer from Baby-naming remorse.  Almost a tenth of parents regret naming their children as they did and 32% believed their child's name ended up more common then they had imagined.

Some trends to keep an eye out for in the coming year is people naming their children with such themes as modern heroes, the west/cowboy, biblical and names that revolve around adjectives,  As such celebrities have already been encompassing the trend, such as Alicia Silverstone calling her son "Bear Blu" or Mariah Carey naming her daughter, "Monroe".

Not every name is a good fit with society and some names are actually ILLEGAL to name your child, "Lucifer" in New Zealand is a HUGE no-no.  Also not allowed in New Zealand, and yes, people actually tried to name their children these bewildering monikers.
